The Traffic Division currently consists of one Sergeant, three patrol officers, and one
civilian clerk. For most of the Year 2021, the unit consisted of one Sergeant and two
patrol officers until October 2021. The Traffic Unit fell under the direction of the Day
Uniform Commander during CY 2021.
The unit is responsible for:
o Accident Investigation and Accident Reconstruction
▪ The investigation and reconstruction of all traffic crashes that
involve death, serious injury, or any other incidents that require
